2. What Ruam Records
Ruam records active and idle time only during your schedule (plus your team’s overtime window, up to 60 minutes) or a work day you start yourself. During that time it keeps the site name and page title in your browser, and the app name on the desktop app.
It never records screenshots, keystrokes, audio, video, what’s in your files, or full web addresses. Your manager and admins can’t see page titles, or sites and apps you haven’t shared. The Privacy Policy has the full list.
3. Removing the Apps
- Chrome extension: open
chrome://extensions, find Ruam, and click Remove. It stops recording straight away. - macOS desktop app: quit Ruam from the menu bar, then move it from Applications to the Trash.
Removing an app stops new recording. Time already recorded stays in your team’s workspace until it is deleted as described below.
4. Your Data
To see, correct, export, or delete your personal data, email privacy@ruam.ai from the address you use with Ruam. If your employer runs your team’s workspace, they control your work records and we will involve them where the law requires it. See section 8 of the Privacy Policy.
5. The Waitlist
To leave the waitlist, use the unsubscribe link in any email from us, or email support@ruam.ai and we will remove your address.
